[Archive]Hello (Again) World

It has been over a decade since I started my blog!
Nine years since the last post.
I remembered it recently and was very surprised (and embarrassed) to discover that I left it out here on the big wide world web. Naturally, my first instinct was to delete it instantly and pretend it never existed…. so in the spirit of leaning in to The Cringe, I’m looking back on the subjects that interested 2015-me and realising I could definitely provide some updates just for fun.
Back then I was just about to start my Electronic Engineering degree after completing an apprenticeship and getting a few years into full time work as a technician. I was excited to learn more about technology and how things work. I was eager to dive straight into new topics as a total beginner and post about it without judgement. That’s what I’d like to do again. It’ll be a lot less helpful to readers these days – it’s so much easier to just ask your LLM of choice how to do new things rather than trawl through rambling blogs by millennials. But here it is anyway.
